Arrested Development star Will Arnett (who plays Gob) confirmed that there are definite plans to continue the story of the Bluth family.

The cult comedy may continue through a fifth season on Netflix or potentially a feature-length film. In either case, the cast and crew are working on developing more Arrested Development for fans to enjoy.

"I can't really confirm precisely what's happening, but I can tell you that we are actively working on something right now," Arnett revealed to E!Online in a Thursday report. "Once we have that nailed down then there will be more of an official announcement to come from [series creator] Mitch Hurwitz. It's something that we're all open to doing and I think we're going to do."

Arrested Development Season 5 Rumors: Tony Hale 'Hoping' More Episodes & Movie in the Works? [VIDEO]

Netflix revived Arrested Development in 2013, seven years after Fox canceled the sitcom. Though the quality of the fourth season had a mixed response from critics and fans, representatives for Netflix have revealed that they would like to produce more Arrested Development content in the future.

Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos told reporters in late September that there was "no question" that there would be more Arrested Development in the future on the streaming service. "It is just a matter of when and what form it takes," he added.

"It's still speculative," Sarandos said, noting that the show's ensemble cast is busy with other projects. Arnett is busy starring in the new CBS sitcom The Millers while the show's other stars like Jason Bateman, Tony Hale and Jessica Walter have starring roles in TV and film projects.
