Homeland fans hoping to see less of Dana Brody (Morgan Saylor) in future episodes will have to put up with her for a little longer.

A new report by E!Online states that there will be more drama from Dana in future episodes. The first two episodes this season have featured the polarizing teenager heavily, angering some fans and critics that wish the show would focus more on the CIA drama.

Saylor spoke with The Daily Beast recently about the audience's negative reception of Dana.

"Dana's story is different than most of Homeland, and I know that." Saylor explained. "But it shows the effect Brody's [Damian Lewis] actions have on his family. And I also think it's important to give viewers a break. Homeland is intense, and I think it would be a hard show to watch if it were intense for 60 straight minutes."

Saylor also noted that characters aren't always intended to be loved. "You could look at most characters and see mixed reactions. I don't know. I don't take it personally. I think it's kind of interesting to see people, like, spending so much time focusing on something like that."

The report from E!Online also states that Brody will be "back in action" very soon, though it is not clear if he will return to the United States or remain in exile. The character did not appear in the first two episodes of the season.

Homeland airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
