Tensions that arise at a poker game could spell trouble on Monday's episode of How I Met Your Mother.

In both an extended promo and a sneak peek clip released by CBS, Robin (Cobie Smulders) figures out how to beat all of the Stinsons at poker, which will result in problems with Barney's mother Loretta (Frances Conroy).

"Well I better leave now before I lose any more of my dignity, the likelihood of which is increasing every moment in this very chilly room," Loretta said in the clip, as she stalked out of the room without a shirt-which Robin had just won during a game a strip poker.

Once she leaves, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) confronts his future wife about the incident, making Lily (Alyson Hannigan), Billy Zabka (Himself), and Ranjit (Marshall Manesh) uncomfortable.

"Robin, you've got to give her that blouse back, she loves that blouse!" Barney said in the clip. "She got those sequins from Rick James...'s open casket."

"Nope, not happening," Robin replied.

"Woman, as your bridegroom, I Command You!" Barney ordered.

The tension, which forces Barney in the middle and makes him feel the need to choose between his mother and his fiancée, could result in yet another poker game, one which Barney plans of winning unfairly to settle the dispute.

In an extended preview clip, he is seen trying to make his ultimate win possible.

"Not cheating!" he exclaimed as Robin walked in on him in the bathroom, to see him flinging cards everywhere. "Don't tell anyone! I'll cut you in on half," he said to her as more cards started spilling out of his jacket sleeve.

How I Met Your Mother airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
