Johnny Depp attended the 2013 BFI London Film Festival Awards on Saturday with a new look.

The 50-year-old, who wore a black suit, showed off his newly dyed blonde hair. The look is a far cry from the Alice in Wonderland star's usual dark locks. See a photo here.

Aside from debuting his hairdo, Depp also presented actor Christopher Lee with an award.

"It's my great honor to be here," he said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"It was certainly a childhood dream come true" to work with and learn from Lee, he added. Depp went on to deem the 91-year-old "a true gentleman," "a national treasure" and "a true artist."

Depp's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Dark Shadows co-star was touched by the speech.

"Johnny, I don't know what to say," Lee said. "I didn't know you were going to be here. It is a very emotional moment for me as you can probably hear."
