To the excitement of its loyalists, new information on episode 6 of the hit British-American drama, Downton Abbey, has indeed surfaced,

ITV had put out the following description on the highly anticipated installment of season 4:

"A birthday party is planned for Robert, but Rose's surprise contribution to the event ruffles feathers above and below stairs. A new farming venture on the Downton estate comes with dramatic repercussions for Mary, and Edith receives more unwelcome news."

Judging by recent photos, it appears as though Rose will be bringing on Jack Ross' band to perform at Robert's birthday bash, which may lead to some friction amongst the house members.

Lady Edith, who hasn't exactly had the best of luck lately, will seemingly get some more undesirable news, as she was shown in the fifth episode seeing a doctor in London following an overnight with the now missing Michael Gregson.

The promo footage makes it apparent that the situation with Michael may not be a good one.
