The CW's Supernatural isn't going to let fans go into the winter break without a bit suspense.

According to actor Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), the show will be providing a cliffhanger for episode 9.

"We're filming our mid-season cliffhanger episode right now," Padalecki tweeted on Oct. 17. "And, I gotta admit, it's AWESOME!!"

Metatron (Curtis Armstrong), who is getting a little lonely all by himself up in heaven, will return to wreak more havoc on the Winchester's lives.
