Be sure to tune into NBC's America's Got Talent tonight as the show kicks off with its newest and most controversial judge, Howard Stern. The season premiere of the biggest talent show in America will be on at 8/7c tonight.

Howard Stern recently commented on Ryan Seacrest's show that American Idol's judges are not critical enough.  "I feel that you guys brought in on 'American Idol' Jimmy Iovine because you needed someone to be more critical. That J Lo, Steven, and Randy aren't really being too tough," Stern told Seacrest.

Does that mean Howard will be the "stern" judge in AGT, and brutally honest?

Stern's radio show, "The Howard Stern Show" was moved from the FM station to Sirius, because of the adult content. It is true to say that parents across are a bit apprehensive about what Stern might say in the family talent show - but the King of Media said he will keep it clean for the kids.

Despite the controversy, fans are supportive of Simon Cowell's decision to cast Stern as a judge, saying that he will "be a breath of fresh air."

Stern, who is a father of three, told Rolling Stone that he knows the importance of his new role. "I took a leap of faith. That's the only reason I did it: I thought it would be fun, and I thought I might be good at it because I sit at home watching this thing, and I'm doing commentary to the wall."
