Fans clamoring for another appearance of Cristin Miliotti's mother character on How I Met Your Mother will finally see her again in the Nov. 4 episode The Lighthouse.

Fans found out the news in a promo clip for the episode, which will also feature an "scramble-off" battle between Robin (Cobie Smulders) and Loretta (Frances Conroy).

Both the show's creators and Miliotti often teased about the episode and the significance the Farhampton Lighthouse, first mentioned in the season premiere as a romantic spot in Ted and the mother's relationship.

"It's really heartwarming and very, very exciting, and I think fans will love it" Miliotti revealed to TV Guide in September. "That's all I can say! That's the one thing I've been sworn to secrecy, but you will not be disappointed. There are some wonderful things coming up with Ted and the mother."

Show co-creator Carter Bays backed up Miliotti's statements at the time, calling the episode a "can't miss."

Bays said the episode will feature a significant flash-forward for Ted (Josh Radnor) and the Mother at the romantic location, and that the final minutes of the installment are "not to be missed."

The small hints at the scene allude to the possibility that fans will Ted realize he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the mother, and finally took the step to do so.

The scene will presumably come after Ted visits the lighthouse in the present-day with Cassie (Anna Camp), his wedding date that he is trying to get rid of.

The Lighthouse episode of How I Met Your Mother airs Monday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
