NBC's Days of Our Lives will be getting a new cast member in the form of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills standout Kyle Richards who'll be making her way back into the world of acting.

Richards, a former Little House on the Prairie actress, recently dished to Glamour about her experience on the Days set, and also described the role she'll be taking on.

"I still work, so my manager submitted me for the role. Here I am! I'm playing a modeling agent who is trying to recruit Gabi (Camila Banus). She's very business-y, kinda pushy. I'm trying to get Gabi to sign on that dotted line," she said.

While many loyalists strongly consider the program to be a soap opera, Richards is actually unsure of what category she'd place it in, tending to lean towards coining it a drama.

"Well, I don't know. I was in the makeup room today watching the monitor where someone pulls a gun on Marlena, [but] we've had such crazy drama on our show too. We've dealt with so much stuff like my sister's alcoholism, the suicide of Taylor's husband, or divorce. It's just real issues, and it has been difficult. We're all part of each other's lives, so I don't know, it's pretty comparable," she added.
