There's someone watching The Blacklist's Tom and Liz Keen, and that enigmatic apple-eating man will soon come into play in a larger way.

While the notorious Raymond 'Red' Reddington (James Spader) has thrown a wrench in Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom's (Ryan Eggold) life and brought a whole slew a secrets to the surface, there are also several unnamed entities in on the game. The apple-eating man and his crew has been running surveillance on the Keen's since the beginning of the season, but who they are - and what they're after - continues to remain a mystery.

However, Eggold claims that the reveal of the Keens' eavesdroppers isn't too far away.

"That will unquestionably come into play, who they are and why they're watching and the sort of Big Brother element to it," Eggold recently explained to E!. "At some point over the next six episodes we will get into that. They will definitely answer who these guys are and why they're watching."

When the Peeping Tom's finally emerge from their surveillance van, their true purpose will somehow circle back around to the question of Tom's identity, particularly the information about the gun that was found with his alleged money and passports. After Liz ran ballistics on the weapon, it turned out that Homeland Security had classified the results.

"It has a trickle down effect and that leak of information is going to comeback to be incredibly important."
