While the midseason of fall television quickly approaches, Fox has decided to shelve two of its new comedies: The Mindy Project and Dads this winter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Mindy Project is scheduled to return on April 1 with a special one-hour episode. There's no set return date for Dads yet, which will start its break on Feb. 11. However, Fox did sign the show for another full season.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine will also move to the 9:30 p.m. slot on Tuesdays beginning on Feb. 4. New Girl will stay at its current slot, Tuesday nights at 9. Those two comedies have been getting much higher ratings than The Mindy Project and Dads. Dads currently has the lowest ratings among the network's new freshmen lineup.

The current schedule for Tuesdays on Fox is Dads at 8 p.m., Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 8:30 p.m., New Girl at 9 p.m. and The Mindy Project at 9:30 p.m.

Fox is also making changes to its popular show, Glee. That show will go back to airing on 8 p.m. on Tuesday nights, instead of its current day, Thursday. The singing show has gotten its lowest ratings, with 4.2 million viewers during its latest episode. The show experienced an 81 percent boost for its episode dedicated to the late Cory Monteith on Oct. 10. That episode garnered 7.4 million viewers.
