Glee star Amber Riley may have lost some weight during season 17 of Dancing with the Stars, which she won on Tuesday night with partner Derek Hough.

The actress' slimmer figure was noticable during her final performance on the show, in which she wore a form-fitting blue gown. Fans who follow her on Glee see a difference in her body shape from the beginning of the DWTS season to the end.

While celebrities getting stronger and shedding some pounds on the competition show is nothing new, the 27-year-old didn't initially plan on losing weight while performing.

In an interview with People earlier in November, Riley shared how her six-hour daily rehearsals with Hough were slimming and toning her figure.

"There are a lot of plus-size [fashion] lines, but there really is not a lot to choose from. And I'm not the type of person who likes to wear what everyone else is wearing," she said at the time. "Being a little smaller does open up your closet to new choices, but it has made my spending a little worse."

After the star was crowned champion on Tuesday's finale show, she had an inspiring message for fans.

"I want to let women of all sizes out there know-you can do whatever you put your mind to! It doesn't matter what size you are, what color you are. You can do whatever, whatever, whatever you put your mind to!"

The actress received countless congratulations from her fellow Glee stars for her win, including a special video from Chris Colfer (Kurt), Lea Michele (Rachel) and Naya Rivera (Santana), who were filming scenes for the FOX show during the finale performance.

Winning with Riley marks the fifth time Hough has won the mirror ball trophy on the show. His previous wins were in season seven with now show co-host Brooke Burke, season ten with Nicole Scherzinger, season 11 with Jennifer Grey and in season 16 with Kellie Pickler.
