Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Woods) isn't the only familiar face to return to Los Angeles on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) may be in for the shock of her life when Ridge (newly re-cast with All My Children's Thorsten Kaye) shows up. His return could spell disaster for Bill (Don Diamont), who has been trying to win Brooke back ever since she kicked him out. Ridge's history with Brooke is one that runs much deeper than Bill's.

A preview for the Friday, Dec. 13 episode shows Quinn (Rena Sofer) attempting to convince Steffy to come back and steal Liam (Scott Clifton) from Hope (Kim Matula) again.

"Give me the chance to convince you to come home," she said to Steffy as the two flew to Paris.

Steffy might truly want Liam to have a happy life as a husband and father, and she can't give him children. Her concern for Liam may be keeping her away from him.

""You think I want to fight for Liam when he's so close to having that family? A wife, who can actually give him what I can't?" she asked Quinn.

She did not visit Liam while she was in L.A. but she may still be on his mind, despite his promises to Hope that he doesn't want a relationship with his ex. He may even seek his father's help in figuring out how to erase Steffy from his mind once and for all.

"You'll get married, and these concerns about Steffy will just fade away," Bill said in the preview clip,

Hope meanwhile cut all her ties to Wyatt (Darin Brooks) at Liam's request to prove her commitment to their relationship, something that she may regret later if she learns a part of Liam still wants to be with Steffy.

"I hope that this proves to you how committed I am," she said to her on-again fiancé.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
