Tina (Michelle Keegan) will not handle Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Carla's (Alison King) return to Weatherfield well on Coronation Street.

When the honeymooners return, their plans for a blissed-out afternoon in bed are ruined when Tina decides to confront him about their kiss before his wedding.

Meanwhile, Gail (Helen Worth) will try to put her family back together after Kylie (Paula Lane) unleashes a drunken and abusive rant at her for allowing David (Jack P. Shererd) back into the family fold.

Several Coronation Street cast members have confirmed in the last month that they will be exiting the British soap in 2014, including Keegan and Charlie Condou. Both stars are currently in the middle of large storylines for their characters.

In a Nov. 26 interview, Keegan told Radio Times "Corrie has been such a big and important part of my life, so it was a hard decision, but one I thought long and hard about."

"It's been my first ever acting job and I'm ready to try new roles now. I will be sad to say goodbye but I'm excited about what the next few months hold for Tina. I have every faith in the writers to give Tina a fitting send off."

The actress previously confirmed that her character would be killed off from the show, effectively cutting off her chance to return.  Her final episodes will air in the spring/summer of 2014.

Condou also spoke about his departure from the show in November, saying, "I've had a fantastic time at Corrie but I feel it's time for me to move on. I was only meant to return for three months and ended up staying for three years! The producers have been really supportive and are leaving the door open for Marcus, which is great, and my exit will certainly be explosive."

He too will exit in summer 2014, along with the recently axed Philip Lowrie.

Coronation Street will air Monday Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
