While fans await for season 3 of Dallas to premiere in February, star Josh Henderson has let some spoilers slip about the future of his character.

Henderson told TV Fanatic that John Ross' love affair with Emma is still going strong, despite his marriage to Pamela. However, John seems to have ulterior motives with both women, especially Emma, who may be able to help him find out more about his father's death.

"Season 2 left off with John Ross being obsessed with who killed his father and figuring it out...now he's on a war path of, 'now what? How do I continue to stay a couple of steps ahead of everybody," he said. "So he marries Pamela, he realized that he can get some info out of Emma [and] all that stuff, it's going to play out through season three."

John hits an obstacle, however, when Emma starts developing deep feelings for him.

Despite trying to avenge his father's death with Emma, John does in fact love Pamela and doesn't want her to get hurt through all of his schemes.

On the other hand, she could have her own motives for marrying him.

"John doesn't want to open that can of worms so he's really trying to tiptoe around what he's doing," Henderson said.

When it comes to John's mother Sue Ellen, the two are going to go through a lot in the next season as she realizes that he is becoming more like JR.

"She finds out some things that he's doing and she starts to see JR in him as well, a little too much, and it really worries her," Henderson revealed.

Season 3 of Dallas resumes Monday, Feb. 24, on TNT.
