Basketball Wives star Tami Roman opened up about the bullying incident on "The Wendy Williams Show". Tami had received criticism after she was filmed bullying fellow cast mate Kesha Nichols in a previous episode of the VH1 reality show.

Wendy Williams started off by saying that she was a fan of the show, but was really embarrassed for being a black woman seeing them go at it at the show.

Roman told the TV host that her two teenager daughters have received abuse on Twitter after the episode of her bullying Kesha aired. She accepted responsibility for her actions against Kesha, saying: "At the end of the day the only person who I have to blame is me because I was the one who got up there and acted a pure fool -- I'm openly admitting that -- but I have since apologized to Kesha I have tried to take the responsibility behind my actions."

In episode 13 of the show, Nichols endured extreme verbal abuse by Roman who appeared drunk when she verbally harassed her. Roman, 41, was filmed screaming and swearing at Nichols despite Nichols insisting that she did not want to fight.

The unfortunate incident happened during a group trip to Tahiti. Nichols appeared very shaken after Roman's confrontation about allegedly gossiping behind her back to other cast members.

After the bullying incident, outraged public viewers filed a petition to boycott the show. "A lot of people sit and point the finger and start boycotts and all of this other stuff, but nobody's stepping up to the plate to mentor to help us," Roman said on the chat show.
She also went on to say that everyone has moments they aren't too proud of. "I think that everybody does you know if you turn a camera around on anybody's life for one day everybody's has a moment that they aren't too proud of."

Roman nearly broke down during the show as she said that her daughters were embarrassed of her. "For the first time I looked at my daughters and they weren't really proud of their Mom and they were embarrassed of me." She continued: "I have a huge platform I should be responsible I should be accountable you know and I haven't really been honoring that."

She also said she has signed up to be a series regular for a new show.

Wendy Williams asked: "So what are you going to do differently on season 5?"

Tami replied : "I can only speak for Tami, and I am making a personal vow that I will never see that look on my children's face again."
