Seth Meyers revealed that Fred Armisen (Portlandia) will be curating and leading the house band on his new Late Night show, on Twitter.

Meyers tweeted an image of the band featuring Armisen and himself, announcing the name of the band:

"Here's the first photo of the new @LateNightSeth band! #8GBand"

The host of the Late Night show went on to reveal that Armisen will be leading the band.

"Fred will curate and lead the band, and continue to run it even when he's off shooting Portlandia. #8GBand," he tweeted.

The two will be reuniting after having worked together on Saturday Night Live. Armisen joined SNL in 2002 and Meyers came on board on 2001. Both exited the variety show in 2013.

Meyers announced that fellow SNL alum Amy Poehler would be his first guest on the first episode of Late Night, at the Television Critics Association in January.

The comedian-actor, who hosted the Weekend Update segment of SNL, also spoke about his experience on the variety show.

"I'm one of the few SNL cast members who managed to parlay my acting ability into being a writer," Meyers said of his time working on the show.

When talking about his last show on SNL, the 40-year-old said that the idea of leaving was "heartbreaking."

"I love it so much, I really have tried to get every last bit out of it. It would have been depressing not to be here for these last three shows," he said.

Late Night with Seth Meyers will premiere on NBC on Feb. 24.

Currently, Armisen is gearing up to the premiere of the fourth season of Portlandia, which will air on IFC on Feb. 27.
