Things are already starting to look up for the husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta standout Phaedra Parks, who was arrested for serious fraud charges last month.

Woman Slams Phaedra Parks as Crooked Attorney

A federal judge has officially granted Apollo Nida's request to push back his trial, Radar Online reported Wednesday. It is now scheduled to begin on March 25th.

Court documents filed on Feb. 14 read, "The Court finds that the ends of justice served by granting the motion to continue outweighs the public's and defendant's interest in a speedy trial. Specifically, this delay will allow the parties time necessary to discuss a resolution of the allegations."

Nida asked for the trial to be postponed on Feb. 10 so he could have more time to research the case the government has put together against him. He still has to decide whether to move forward with a trial or go for a plea deal.

Nida did make an appearance in court and waived his right to have a preliminary hearing last week. In the hearing, the government would have come forward with witnesses and information to prove to the judge there is enough evidence to move along with the trial.

Nida is currently being accused of identity theft and using the victim's identity to open up fake businesses and bank accounts in which he allegedly wrote fraudulent checks. He also reportedly stole the social security checks of Delta Airlines employees. His scheme allegedly brought in more than $3 million. Parks is connected to businesses that Nida opened, but none of them are included in the fraud case.
