Orange is the New Black will be delving into some of its minor characters for season 2, including Poussey (Samira Wiley) and Taystee (Danielle Brooks).

Wiley and Brooks recently spoke with E! Online about season 2 of the popular Netflix prison drama, teasing a few details about their characters.

"We will see Poussey's back story, so I hope people are excited about that. I'm excited about that," Wiley revealed. "We will see a lot more of her in prison."

New Episodes To Feature a Tougher Piper Chapman?

Poussey was not featured much in the first season of Orange is the New Black, other than being seen as Taystee's sidekick.

"She's such a good friend and really good at that, but we'll see really more of her, her morals, where her loyalty lies, who she is as a woman, all that kind of stuff," Wiley added.

Meanwhile, fan favorite Taystee will also have her own story explored in season 2.

"I'm going to tease you a little bit about Taystee [in] season two - you'll get more of me!" Brooks told E! Online. "The only thing I can give you is that for me Taystee has shocked me for season two so I think people will be excited to see what she does."

In season 1, the series delved into the backstory of many characters in the prison, so it can be assumed that this will continue with further insight into Poussey and Taystee before they were incarcerated.

Orange is the New Black season 2 premieres in full on Friday, June 6 on Netflix.
