Beth and Daryl will share some kind of special connection on Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, according to actor Norman Reedus.

The Walking Dead Season 4 Prison Group Chatter

On Thursday, Reedus had an interview with HuffPost Live where the actor revealed that Beth will likely put Daryl in a positive atmosphere after the violence on The Governor.

"He needs to be pushed in a hopeful direction, he's not a positive person," Reedus said, referring to his character. "I will say that the episode that's playing this Sunday answers a lot of those questions. The character that Emily plays [Beth] is such a candle in the darkness for him and she brings that out in him again, she gives him hope in a way."

Reedus described some more detail on Beth bringing Daryl some hope despite his pessimism.

"That sort of hope is something he needs to find through other people and I think he starts off that episode in a really dark place, he basically just growls at her [Beth] for the first 20 minutes of that show. She becomes the light at the end of the tunnel," Reedus said.

Reedus was also asked what his view was on letting kids watch the show and said, "I feel like if you're going to let your children watch it, you should watch it with them. And it's fun that way."

The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
