'Reign' Spoilers: Mary's New Husband Finally Gets Revealed After Francis And Lola Hook Up? [VIDEO]
It looks like it might be known who Mary's husband will be on Reign after all.
On Monday, showrunner Laurie McCarthy mentioned something on the wild hookup that happened between Francis and Lola, which creates a decent chance that Francis may not be Mary's new husband.
"Lola gets involved with Francis, but she will also move on to others," McCarthy said. "She's the first of our girls to be really driven to find a husband."
Love Triangle Gets Broken Between Bash And Francis?
If Lola and Francis start a romance, then this leaves room for Bash to become Mary's husband in the next episode.
According to Wet Paint, there is still a possibility that the husband could be Francis because even if the two are legally married, Lola could still be on the side. This could actually create some speculation on McCarthy's comment; if Lola is supposedly going to "move on to others," perhaps it's because Francis is married to Mary.
In a clip that shows what will happen in this episode called The Consummation, Mary is seen getting a demand from the king who tells her that she will wed one of his sons.
The clip also shows an appearance from Mary's mother who appears to have some sort of conflict with Queen Catherine when she tells the mother that if she wants to fix something, she should do it herself.
Mary is then seen sticking up for herself to the king, telling him that she will not be bullied by him until the next moment shows Mary in a wedding dress.
Reign airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
