For those of us wanting an iPhone but not willing to pay the outrageous mandatory monthly contract fees - hold out to get the iPhone 4S on Virgin Mobile via Sprint coming soon.

Following Cricket, Virgin Mobile will offer a pre-paid iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S plan - giving you a chance to own an iPhone for only $30 a month. The original rate will start at $35, with Virgin offering a $5 discount for customers who sign up for auto-pay. This means you will only pay $30 for 300 minutes, unlimited internet, and unlimited texts.

The cost of the phones will range from the 8GB iPhone 4 selling for $549 and the 16GB iPhone 4S selling for $649.

But don't be put off by the seemingly up-front high cost of the phone. AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint all offer the iPhone 4S for $199 - however the monthly cost ranges from $60 to $70 - which over two years will save you between $300 to over $500 dollars.

Virgin's offer, coming June 29th,  will be among the cheapest option available for the iPhone 4/4S.  

Although most Apple fans are waiting to replace or upgrade their iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5, Virgin's upcoming iPhone 4S is one of the most attractive deals to date.
