After her attempts to win Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back proved unsuccessful, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will seek the comfort of a familiar face on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke Competes For Ridge's Affections

RIdge has committed himself to Katie (Heather Tom), leaving Brooke alone with a broken heart in the process. But in a preview clip for the Tuesday, March 18 episode, she will reach out to her ex-lover (and Katie's ex-husband) Bill (Don Diamont), for comfort.

However, if she was initially seeking solace and kind words from her former lover, she will be sorely mistaken when Bill rubs his assertions about Ridge in her face.

Bill Vows To Win Brooke Back

"I guess he's exactly the loser I said he was," Bill said in the clip, before softening up a bit more towards Brooke and adding, "and definitely not worth the salt in your tears."

Because Bill does not seem as eager to win Brooke back by getting her into bed again, she will instead see him as a confidant, and express her anger and hurt over Katie repeating their twisted history all over again.

"It's ironic, isn't it?" she asked Bill. "I did this to Katie and now she's doing it back to me."

As the two talk however, the old feelings between them could begin to surface once more, especially on Bill's part, though he may not act on them just yet in deference to Brooke's currently broken heart. He wants to be with her for life, and not to just be her rebound.

However, he will make a plea for them to reconsider their relationship as he leaves.

"Ridge and Katie, they've given us a gift," he said. "We should take it."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
