One of the upcoming new actors on Downton Abbey released some new photos of what fans are about to get a glimpse of when the hit series returns.

Edith's Relationship Will Have Consequences?

Richard E. Grant, who will play an art historian and a guest of the Crawleys named Simon Bricker, posted two pictures from the next season, one of them showing him enjoying himself on set.

The first photo that was posted on Friday shows Grant in a classy suit outside with the British scenery behind him. He's smiling for the camera as he stands up straight like an elegant suitor.

"On DOWNTON ABBEY duty this fine LickYourPlateCleanFriday," the actor captioned the photo.

Grant posted another picture that same day that shows an old-fashioned car on set. "'Home' for the weekend, James!" he captioned the photo.

Grant has posted several other pictures on set, one of them that appears to be from a night scene. The photo shows the famous castle covered in darkness as the sky looks grey. Grant captioned this photo, "This is where I've pitched up today at the 'coal face' of Show business."

There was a recent rumor that the British drama could potentially go off the air after the fifth season, but series creator Julian Fellowes revealed that nothing is official until the fifth season airs.

"I have no plans to stop writing and while ratings are as high as they are I can't see they wouldn't commission another series," Fellowes told Express. "It's just that they won't confirm until the fifth series is televised."

Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015.
