Liz Keen is swimming into dangerous waters with her recent behavior on The Blacklist.

Who Is Number One On Red's Blacklist? When Will The Top Criminal Be Revealed?

The FBI profiler is determined to uncover the truth about her husband, and keeping up her marital charade is slowly pushing her over the edge. As Liz (Megan Boone) plays the dutiful and naïve wife for Tom (Ryan Egoold), another side of her personality has started to surface.

"Liz has always been sort of on her heels, she's always been doe eyed compared, obviously, to Red," series creator Jon Bokenkamp explained on the "Milton Bobbit" episode of Beyond the Blacklist. "So where starting to see a bit of that transformation - what is she willing to do, how far is she willing to go and [the interrogation of Craig Keen] is a great example of Liz starting to break the rules a bit. Her becoming, and moving, a bit into the darkness is where she may be going."

Tom's True Identity Results In 'Spectacular' Fallout On 'The Blacklist'

Although she allowed Red (James Spader) to take care of the actual dirty work with Craig, the agent's willingness to work outside the law is evident. If only we could say 'like father, like daughter.'

"I think this season is an evolution of Liz going from someone who is pretty good and think she knows how the world works and by the end of the season, we will see her do things and compromise herself in ways that she never thought possible," warned executive producer Wendy West in the Behind the Blacklist feature for "Fredrick Barnes."
