It is only right that the tradition continue in Miami as the Heat have captured the franchise's second championship in seven years.

The parade will be scheduled for Monday, June 25th at 11AM.

It will begin on the ever-popular Calle Ocho. The parade will then continue down Brickell and pass by the International Hotel in Downtown Miami.

The parade will conclude in the Heat's home, American Airlines Arena.

The Miami Heat failed to celebrate in 2011 after being up 2-1 in the series against the Dallas Mavericks.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade came back this season with only one goal and that was to win the championship.

In postgame interviews after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106, they both said last season's defeat helped them mature and focus.

For James this was his third attempt at winning a championship and it was successful. Not only did he win a championship, but he was named NBA Finals MVP.

The last time the Heat celebrated was in 2006. Back then they were powered by the Big Diesel, Shaquille O'Neal.

He came to Miami and won his fourth and final ring in his NBA career.

Wade was only 24 and admitted to taking the 2006 championship season for granted.

Now, the Heat will have a chance to thank all of their fans as many are expected to line up for the 2012 NBA Champions.
