Season 2 to Start with 'Time Jump,' Radical Changes Revealed?

Towards the end of the last season, it was revealed that Libby was pregnant, Bill didn't seem to take too well to the news because he suspected that child was not his, and anyway the emotional cripple that he is seems like he wouldn't know how to express his affection for a child.

Martin Sheen actually confirmed that would be the case and that Bill might actually not be up to the task of fatherhood but Enstars didn't suspect Libby would also not make the cut in parenting.

American Horror Story's Axeman to Join Cast for Season 2?

Libby did go through a whole lot during the first season, we saw her flailing emotionally as the distance between her and her husband grew, but she just didn't accept the truth of the situation and still pushes to make things work with Bill. The movie website asked her if she would start to change or stay in "wilful denial." Ashford suggested that while she did think she changed during the first season, she will actually bear the repercussions in the second season.

"She is definitely capable of change, I think she changed a lot over the course of the first season," she said. "I think she saw a lot of her fantasies of what she thought her life was supposed to be, season 2 is kind of the repercussions of that."

The second season of Masters of Sex will premiere on July 13.
