In the wake of Julianne Hough's highly critical comments to Maks Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With the Stars, the latter is still waiting on an apology.

During Monday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars, the remaining celebrities and pro partners were forced into new partnerships, with Chmerkovskiy switching from Meryl Davis to Danica McKellar. Hough, who was a guest judge, told Chmerkovskiy that he seemed like he just wanted to get the dance over with so he could get back with Davis.

"It was like this week could get past - so you could be back with Meryl and you just had to phone it in so you could get back with Meryl," Hough told Chmerkovskiy.

Chmerkovskiy retaliated, saying, "That was not the case but thank you."

Now, Chmerkovskiy is still a little upset by the comments, speaking with ABC News about the exchange.

"It felt like she just said something, didn't think it through, then started talking over herself. So it wasn't well thought out," he said. However, he probably won't hold a grudge, turning to a more joking tone: "And Julianne has my number, whenever she wants to call and apologize, I'm ready."

While Chmerkovskiy was perhaps thrown off by Hough's comments, it doesn't seem that the Ukraine-born dancer will be taking them to heart.

This week, Chmerkovskiy is back with Davis and they will be performing a dance to a Disney song.

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
