For all the hype that ABC's Revenge is ratcheting up, the show's ratings are ironically ratcheting down. At least they did on last week's Revolution episode according to Fast National Nielsen data.

Revenge's 'Impetus' And 'Execution' Promise To 'Blow Audience's Minds'

Revenge's ratings for episode 20, Revolution, dropped the show to a new low of 1.2 (4.9 million viewers) at 10 p.m., according to Digital Spy this week. Despite that, ABC won the most views for the young 18-49 demographic, while CBS won the overall most views with 60 Minutes being Sunday's most watched show.

Preliminary ratings reveal that ABC's Once Upon A Time rose to 2.1 and Resurrection dropped to 1.9. Ratings come from Fast National Nielsen data.

Showrunner Says Revenge Season Finale Is 'Extraordinary'

Meanwhile, for those millions tuning in to Revenge, the synopsis for next Sunday's Impetus has been teased, according to an earlier Enstars report.

"Dire circumstance leads Emily to take extreme measures against both the Graysons and those closest to her."

The Grayson's kingdom is finally crumbling as Emily and Victoria "become really, really potent rivals again, in ways that you've never seen before. It's going to be super satisfying," said showrunner Sunil Nayer to TV Line.

"Emily and Victoria have scenes in the finale that are going to blow the audiences' minds ... and the performances that Emily [VanCamp] and Madeleine [Stowe] put into this are so good," he continued.

Tune in to ABC on Sunday, May 4 for Impetus, and Sunday, May 11 for Execution, the season's finale.
