Scarlett Johansson's pregnancy will not alter the Avengers: Age of Ultron script.

The actress is set to reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a Black Widow, for the Marvel sequel to the 2012 blockbuster, but her recent pregnancy has called into question her ability to see the film through to completion in its original form.

However, Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios' president of production, has assured fans that the mom-to-be will not have any of her substantial role cut for the 2015 release.

"Well my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her, and my second reaction was we've gotta move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise," Feige told Collider in regards to rearranging Johansson's filming schedule. "But we didn't change the script at all, which is sort of the most important things for us in terms of the storyline. I think the goal is for us to sit here talking about the fact that you would never know that Black Widow was pregnant during the filming of the movie when you see the final version of Avengers 2."

To achieve this, The Mirror claims director Joss Whedon and his CGI crew have outfitted the actress with a green waist band that will render her baby bump invisible following editing.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
