24: Live Another Day premiered its first two episodes Monday night on Fox with numerous twists and turns, and the action will keep going into episode 3 next week.

The next episode of 24: Live Another Day, titled Day 9: 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, features the threat of terrorism intensifying, as noted by an official Fox press release.

"As the hunt continues for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), the terror threat is intensifying, much to the chagrin of the CIA and Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski)," the synopsis reads.

Both plots are going on simultaneously, with the CIA suspicious of Jack Bauer's claims of terrorism happening in London. While Kate and the CIA on the hunt for Jack, Jack has teamed up with Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) again and is searching for Peter Yates, the prime suspect in an international terrorism plot.

Peter Yates intercepted an American drone strike intended for Afghanistan and turned the drones on the U.S. military. However, there was a surprise twist at the end of the two hour premiere when Peter Yates' girlfriend killed him and revealed herself to be the daughter of Margot (Michelle Fairley), a widow who is seeking revenge for her deceased husband. In episode 3, Margot proves that she is "willing to make any sacrifice for her mission."

Meanwhile, there is a new presidential plot going on at the same time as President James Heller (William Devane) "prepares to address Parliament in an attempt to heal recent wounds with the British, and to preserve his legacy."

This episode is set to air Monday, March 12 at 9 p.m.
