Charlie White was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on the latest episode of the season, and he's not particularly happy about that.

Meryl Davis In Danger Of Elimination on DWTS Despite Frontrunner Status?

White and his pro dancing partner Sharna Burgess were eliminated in fifth place Monday night, just barely missing the upcoming Finals. The Olympic ice dancer was considered a frontrunner throughout the competition, achieving mostly high scores from the judges from the very beginning.

After his elimination, White spoke with Access Hollywood, revealing his thoughts on being out of the competition.

"[I'm feeling] mixed emotions," White said. "Obviously I'm disappointed."

Despite his disappointment, he added that he is still "very grateful" for the opportunity to participate in the competition.

"I think that in this moment you're able to reflect a bit about the journey and where you've been, how you got to where you're at. And I think that being able to look at each other and say that we were 100 percent truthful to ourselves and did everything the right way, as well as put our whole heart, soul, passion into the dancing which was really the most important thing."

White's ice dancing partner Meryl Davis is still standing in the competition, and actually may be the frontrunner to win the Mirrorball Trophy. White joked that he's sad that he won't be asked anymore about competing against Davis. He added that he will be cheering her on.

Asked if he thought Davis and her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy would actually win the competition, White said that he hoped it would be the case.

"I know that she's capable of it," he said.

Dancing With the Stars Season 18 airs its two-part finale on Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
