Though the case against Lucas (Bryan Dattalo) seemed solid, a shocking confession by his son, Will (Guy Wilson), will change the entire investigation into Nick Fallon's murder on Days of Our Lives.

Lucas A Suspect In Nick's Murder?

It is unclear what will prompt Will to confess to the crime, or if he will simply be covering up for somebody else close to him, but the catalyst that will bring on his confession could start with Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) surprise arrival at the Kirakis mansion, with a search warrant in hand.

If she finds a gun similar to the one used to kill Nick, it could easily narrow down the list of suspects to those who had access to Kirakis mansion-meaning only members of the Kirakis family. This could put Will's husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith) as the prime suspect in the murder, causing Will to come to his defense and shine the light off of him.

Lucas Confesses To Murdering Nick?

Meanwhile, unrelated to the investigation into who murdered Nick, Daniel (Shawn Christian) has realized that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will not tell Eric (Greg Vaughan) the truth herself about his innocence the night he slept with Kristen, and will take it upon himself to inform her fiance about her lies. Nicole will try once again to stop him from ruining her happily-ever-after, but she may be too late this time.

And though they recently reunited, young couple J.J. (Casey Moss) and Paige (True O'Brien) will once again encounter a hurdle in their relationship after Bev (Allison Paige) reveals a shocking secret about J.J. It could result in the young couple breaking up once again.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
