Teresa Terry, who is the mother of Chrisley's oldest children Lindsie, 24, and Kyle, 23, who have also been on the show, opened up in an interview with Daily Mail Tuesday about her dark relationship with Todd that lead in a domestic violence case against him.

She said they married after they found out she was pregnant with Lindsie. The conflicts began with little things like the house not being set up perfectly in their "turbulent" marriage, as she describes it. She added that they often clashed when it came to her outfits as she liked to wear more casual clothes like a baseball cap and ponytail.

But with Todd, "Your hair always had to be fixed and you had to be dressed to the tens. I grew tired of being constantly corrected and I would run my mouth," she revealed.

The couple decided to separate many times until November 1994. Shortly after, she filed the case against him. In court documents she pointed out a specific incident in 1992 when she said he ruined some of her personal property and "battered his mother" as well as Terry. She also listed an incident on Oct. 21, 1994 when he "battered" her while she was behind the wheel of a car. She eventually pulled over and ran off. When she got home she said he "stripped her of all her jewelry" and threw her out "until he was tired of caring for the children."

Terry went on to shut down rumors that Todd is homosexual and spoke on his current $50 million debt and bankruptcy case.

"I think it would be difficult for anybody to lose that much but his philosophy is, 'He who has the gold makes the rules.'"
