Now that the Nick Fallon murder mystery is wrapping up, the dramas of other characters are set to begin taking center stage on Days of Our Lives.

Brady and Theresa Rekindle Their Romance?

Brady (Eric Martsolf) has been getting increasingly closer to spinning out of control since his reunion with Theresa (Jen Lilley) and his father John's (Drake Hogestyn) return to town, and things are only set to continue getting worse for him. He has tried so hard to get past his demons and not succumb to his prior struggles with drugs and alcohol, but he may soon begin to lose his ability to resist.

His newest moment of anger will once again be directed towards John, after he learns that he is still trying to break-up his relationship with Theresa by offering her a job out of the country. If Brady can remain strong enough to not return to his familiar old friends, it could result in him expressing his rage in a different way -- by fighting with, and hurting, his father.

Meanwhile, the Brady family is going to begin experiencing their own dramas, as Eric (Greg Vaughan) is coming to terms with his fiancée Nicole's (Arianne Zucker) betrayal, and Sami (Alison Sweeney) stresses about everyone else in her life's business.

Nicole and Eric's Relationship Tested By Her Deception?

Eric has now temporarily called off his engagement to Nicole following the revelation that she lied to him and destroyed the evidence that he was drugged the night he had sex with Kristen DiMera. The timing for the revelation couldn't have been worse for the couple, who were on their way to Vegas at the time to elope.

Now, he will need to break the news to his family members, including his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall), that not only is his engagement off -- but that he most likely cannot return to the priesthood for real this time because he and Nicole had consummated their relationship.

Sami will take a surprising stance against someone her path has hardly crossed, and will attack Jordan (Chrishell Stause) after seeing her out with her ex-husband, Rafe (Galen Gering). It's currently unclear why she's going to suddenly be against the physiotherapist, but it may have something to do with the couple's romance.

Before meeting Jordan, Rafe had been seeing Kate (Lauren Koslow), but ended things with the older woman so he could pursue her. Now, because she was left alone again, she has begun seeing Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) once again -- something Sami has expressed her concerns about. Now, she may blame Jordan for the way things have turned out.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
