After weeks of speculation and one major false confession, the case will officially be closed on just who shot and killed Nick Fallon on Days of Our Lives.

A Shocking Twist Is Revealed In Nick's Murder Investigation?

Despite seeming to be completely back under his spell and stupidly falling for him again, Gabi (Camila Banus) will finally admit it was all an act because she was scared of him -- and in the end, it was she who pulled the trigger and ended his life.

After learning of Will's (Guy Wilson) false confession, Gabi will finally come clean, and when she goes to begin serving her prison term, the custody of her daughter, Arianna will likely revert back to Will and his husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith).

Nicole Ends Her Friendship With Daniel?

Though the murder investigation may be getting nicely cleaned up, the mess from Nicole's (Arianne Zucker) big secret is just being made. Her plans to elope with Eric (Greg Vaughan) will be drawn to a halt now thanks to Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) -- who told Eric about Nicole's deceptive ways.

Now, as Jennifer is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions, including potentially losing Daniel (Shawn Christian) for good, Nicole will be forced to admit to the truth once and for all after her fiancé confronts her.

Because she was afraid that Eric would choose the priesthood over her, she destroyed evidence that he had been drugged the night he had sex with Kristen DiMera. Had he known the truth about that night, Eric would have likely chosen to return to the celibate life of a priest -- leaving Nicole alone again. Now, because he and Nicole have made love consensually, his chances of returning may be ruined for good anyway-and when he realizes Nicole could have given him what he wanted months ago, he may end things with her once and for all as a result.
