Even though her popularity has surged since appearing on Sia's Chandelier music video, dance prodigy Maddie Ziegler insists that her coach and mentor Abby Lee Miller had no part in landing her the role. In fact, she says she got it all on her own.

The pint-sized Dance Moms star says that while being on the hit reality television show has helped her exposure, she hasn't used any of the show's contacts to help her make it big in the entertainment world. Many have accused Maddie of being Miller's "favorite" dancer on the show and have even said that Maddie is becoming the breakout star of the show, thanks to Miller's help. Despite the rumors, Maddie says that she is getting her work through social media networks.

"Sia asked me through Twitter," Maddie tells Line-Up Magazine in their latest issue. "Like she just tagged my name and said, 'Would you like to be in my music video?'"

Maddie also says that she and the Australian pop star became fast friends and even bonded when they weren't filming their video together.

"Every time I wasn't filming, I was always hanging out with her. She is actually a fan of our show."

The first half of Season 4 of Dance Moms ended in April and is scheduled to return this Fall on the Lifetime Network.
