As House of Cards aired its second season earlier this year, the poltical drama is already in pre-production mode, Netflix's other show Orange Is The New Black seems to have taken over, and is being deemed the flavor of this season.

The women's prison comictragedy is more popular than House of Cards according to a new report by NYDaily. Sourcing an analysis by Fizziology, the publication stated that Orange Is The New Black had 98,407 mentions and 98% of them were positive last week. The second sason of the show premiered on Netflix on June 6.

When compared with the pre-premiere mentions on social media for House of Cards, the feminist series took the cake beating the Kevin Spacey-led show with double the number.

House of Cards also fell behind on the percentage of positive mentions, with an 89% approval rating.

The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
