Dancing With the Stars' most recent champions have reunited again just weeks after winning the Mirrorball Trophy.

The Walking Dead Star Competing In Season 19 of DWTS?

Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis and her pro dancing partner Maks Chmerkovskiy sizzled on the dance floor this spring and wound up winning the season. Along their journey to victory, the couple was the subject of many romance rumors, especially considering Chmerkovskiy's very obvious love for his celebrity partner.

Now, the pair has reunited and is spending more time together. They were spotted at the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards in New York City, and Chmerkovskiy elaborated to Us Weekly about his relationship with Davis.

Tristan MacManus Not Returning To DWTS & Going To Britain?

"I love her. I love her!" he said. "I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she's embraced it...She's a brilliant person, and she's also very normal. I enjoyed my time with her. It was sad when the season was over." The dancer also said that they meet up for dinners.

Chmerkovskiy is very conscious of the romance rumors, with Us Weekly asking him about his bond with Davis, to which Chmerkovskiy joked, "About our romance?"

All things considered, it seems that Davis and Chmerkovskiy are just really good friends and not dating.

Meanwhile, it is still unknown if Chmerkovskiy is coming back for Season 19 of Dancing With the Stars.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC, returning to its regular Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot. ABC has not yet announced a specific premiere date yet.
