It looks like Bay and Emmett are about to fall upon something that they didn't see coming in a future episode of Switched at Birth.

Bay Makes A Decision In Her Love Life?

On Sunday, Carter Matt posted the synopsis for the episode called Snowball Down a Mountain, which is supposed to air on June 23. It turns out that Bay and Emmett will face some difficulties while things pick up for Daphne -- or so it appears.

Apparently, Bay and Emmett will try to fight the horrific threat from Matthew's blackmail where they will discover something "unexpected." Meanwhile, Daphne is supposed to get a big opportunity at the clinic although it might create issues with her boyfriend, Campbell.

New Cast Member Makes A 'Brief Appearance?'

The site also mentioned that Kathryn will be satisfied with her life as an author. But even she will have some scary drama coming her way when someone from her past reportedly threatens the publication of her book.

There are several theories on how all of these situations could result. Since Bay and Emmett randomly shared some intimacy in a previous episode, this could likely result in threats to damage their reputation for good.

It was also reported that the sister of Vanessa Marano, who plays Bay, is supposed to make an appearance on the show, according to a tweet from series creator Lizzy Weiss.

"Here's something no one else knows: @lauramarano makes a brief appearance on #SwitchedatBirth this summer. But as who?" Weiss teased.

Switched at Birth is expected to return on Monday, June 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
