New details on Switched at Birth have been revealed, including what's about to happen between Bay and Emmett as well as an appearance from a deaf celebrity sports player.

New Cast Member Makes A 'Brief Appearance?'

On Tuesday, Carter Matt posted a synopsis for a future episode called Oh, Future that is supposed to air on June 30. The first deaf offensive player in the NFL Derrick Coleman is reportedly going to make an appearance to give some inspiration to Travis.

Mary Beth is apparently going to surprise Travis when she tracks down Coleman at a restaurant. There is no word yet on how big his involvement on the series will be, but it will likely add some emphasis.

Bay Will Make A Decision In Her Love Life?

While this happens, Bay encourages Emmett to rekindle his relationship with his father since Melody might move to another state and take Emmett with her. It seems that Emmett will oblige, but the result of visiting his dad may not be as hopeful as some were hoping for. According to the site, his father will have some news that could change his relationship with his son altogether.

Things start to look a little bright for Daphne who will have an interview for a Latina college scholarship, but even that will have its share of drama when her expenses get in the way. Apparently, John and Kathryn will "clash" with Regina over the funding arrangements, which could have a positive or negative outcome.

Switched at Birth is set to return on Monday, June 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
