Penny might be getting a makeover on the upcoming eighth season of The Big Bang Theory, assuming producers choose to take her portrayer Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting's new haircut into consideration.

Sheldon 'Heading For The Bedroom' With Amy on The Big Bang Theory Season 8?

Cuoco-Sweeting recently decided to cut her relatively long hair, and Penny might be receiving the same treatment in The Big Bang Theory Season 8, according to a new report by TVLine.

She said that when she introduced her new hair to the producers for the first time, they "loved it." While she has since gone for a pixie cut, Cuoco-Sweeting said that she is hoping to have it reflected in Penny. "I'm hoping Penny will keep the haircut, that's my goal. The finale wasn't a 'To Be Continued,' so I don't see any problem with it. People change, people get haircuts, so I think this is a realistic move for Penny. Fingers crossed!"

Sheldon 'Affected' By Leonard Moving Out of Apartment But Not Changed?

When fans last saw Penny, she and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) were saying goodbye to Sheldon (Jim Parsons) at the train station as he decided he needed to leave the area. Penny and Leonard had gotten engaged at the end of Season 7, with Leonard telling Sheldon that he would be moving out of the apartment.

The Big Bang Theory Season 8 premieres this fall on CBS, though the network has not yet announced an official air date. It will be moving to Mondays at 8 p.m. in September to make way for Thursday Night Football. Once football is over, the series will return to its regular Thursdays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
