There's a new story going around saying that pop star Katy Perry might not only be dating Twilight star Robert Pattinson, but they might be more committed than some may have expected.

On Friday, Irish Independent posted a story that mentioned that the two are not official although there is still some curiosity surrounding them with some sort of complicated label.

"They've had a couple of flings, but they're not properly dating," a source told British magazine Heat. "Katy's still in touch with Diplo and Rob Ackroyd [both of whom she's also been linked to recently]. Still, she's in no hurry to move Rob out -- they've even talked about living together."

This might create some confusion since the two may not be an exclusive item yet they're supposedly talking about moving in together.

The site also pointed out another story about Pattinson and Perry being close especially after the singer dealt with a breakup with John Mayer.

"Rob and Katy have never stopped being in touch -- she loves the attention but also thinks he's really sexy and funny," a source told Heat in the past. "The texting stepped up in January when things started going bad between Katy and John."

The insider then revealed that while Pattinson's been helpful to the Birthday singer, there's likely some romantic tension taking place.

"Rob's been a real shoulder for her to cry on," the source said. "Since she's been single, though, the texts have hotted up -- she loves drunk-texting him and they're always flirty."
