Aubrey Peeples, who's known for playing Layla on Nashville, revealed some details about the third season, including a special someone who could be her new love interest.

Avery Might Be Unable To Forgive Juliette

On Tuesday, Glamour posted an interview with the actress who dished on the show's future and past. When she was asked who her character could set her sights on next, she revealed that she would love it to be Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) because he's "so cute obviously!"

"I think that would be so fun. He's a lovely person," Peeples said. "I'm really hoping she takes a step back and looks at herself. She struggles with writing music, and I feel like she's gone through so much this season that maybe she'll go through a transformation with her music. I'm hoping something like that happens."

Will There Be More To Learn About Juliette?

The actress also dished on the heartbreaking moment when Will told Layla that he's gay, and how difficult it was to be part of that scene.

"We were so invested. We had been basically working our way up to that moment the entire season," Peeples said. "Getting to it was so emotional already, and it just felt like the penultimate moment of the season, at least for my character. We could not stop bawling the entire time we were shooting. I think we took three hours to shoot that scene. It was a big moment."

Peeples also mentioned that the writers of the series are just getting back to work so she has no idea what's going to happen next.

Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on ABC.
