As filming for Jurassic World is currently underway and with Comic-Con right around the corner, a new report suggests that while the movie is not on the roster of presentations it is likely that a teaser trailer or some footage will be unveiled at the event.

Jurassic World To Pay Homage To Original, New Poster Reveals?

On July 22 Variety reported its list of possible surprises at Comic-Con and Jurassic World figured on it. The publication was quite certain of the fact that the movie will make an appearance:

"Universal will not have its own panel this year, but rather is folding into Legendary Entertainment's. That doesn't mean Jurassic World won't find its footing. Set to be released in June 2015, the franchise's following at the Con is too large to not have even a teaser."

Jurassic World is being directed by Colin Trevorrow and will star Chris Pratt, Bryce-Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
