Adam Newman Recast: Five Actors Who Could Replace Michael Muhney On 'Young And The Restless'
While many fans believe that only Michael Muhney can tackle the role of Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless, the show's executives are reportedly still looking for someone to replace him.
Although we also hate to see him leave the CBS show, here are five other soap opera actors who we think could be a good fit.
1) Cameron Mathison
The 44-year-old is best known for starring as Ryan Lavery on All My Children from 1998 to 2011. The current Entertainment Tonight correspondent did take to Twitter to shoot down rumors that he would join Y&R as Adam Newman, but we still think he would do the role justice.
Just to clear up some rumors... There is absolutely NO indication that I am going to Y&R to play Adam Newman. Thanks for all the support tho

2) Trevor St. John
The 42-year-old, who played Todd Manning and Victor Lord, Jr. on ABC's One Life to Live, is also a good choice. Some fans seem to agree.
@soapsindepthcbs Trevor St. John should do my a huge favor and become Adam #YR — Sweetness (@luvgh62) July 18, 2014
3) Tom Pelphrey
The 31-year-old is known for appearing on Guiding Light as Jonathan Randall from 2004 to 2009 and then as Mick Dante on As The World Turns from 2009 to 2010. He clearly has tons of soap opera experience and he's even an Emmy-Winner.
4) Robert Scott Wilson
The 31-year-old appeared on All My Children as Peter Cortlandt in 2013 and now he portrays the role of Ben Rogers on Days of Our Lives. This good-looking actor could be a great addition to Genoa City.

5) Eric Martsolf
The 42-year-old stars as Brady Black on NBC's Days of Our Lives and previously played Ethan Winthrop on NBC's Passions from 2002 until it went off air in 2008. His talent and good looks wouldn't be a bad thing for Y&R.
