MasterChef features competing cooks partaking in a series of challenges to try and emerge as the winner, this time for someone who will be important to impress.

Season 5 Premiere Of MasterChef Features Biggest Disaster In Show History

The show features Gordon Ramsay as one of the judges, and Ramsay, of course, is known for his combustible personality. As such, perhaps this next challenge will be particularly worrisome for the contestants. On Sunday, Carter Matt reported that in the next episode of MasterChef the contestants have to cook for Gordon Ramsay's wife.

The theme of this particular episode is romance, which is part of the reason why Ramsay's wife is making an appearance. However, she is also almost certainly there so that the show can play up the concern about somebody serving Ramsay's wife a bad dish. If he gets angry over a poorly prepared dish in other occasions, he presumably will not be happy if it happens with his wife involved. However, folks looking for some real chaos in this episode may be disappointed because the preview for the episode doesn't show much in the way of anything serious happening. Gordon Ramsay's wife, and thus the remaining cooks, seem to make it out unscathed.

Then again, one of the 12 remaining chefs will be eliminated at the end of this episode. According to the synopsis, whichever team, either red or blue, who loses this romance challenge will face a competition involving truffles to try and continue on. This episode will air Monday, July 28 on FOX. When it ends, there will be 11 cooks left fighting for the title of Master Chef.
