It looks like Ben Stiller and the crew of museum exhibits led by Robin Williams will be going for one last trip down history in the first trailer for Shawn Levy's Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

Stiller returns as Larry Daley, a night guard first appearing in the 2006 film, as he spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever.

Returning characters include Robin Williams as Theodore Roosevelt, Owen Wilson as Jedediah, Ricky Gervais as Dr. McPhee, Mizuo Peck as Sacajawea, Skyler Gisondo as Nick Daley, and Steve Coogan as Octavius. New members include Ben Kingsley and Rebel Wilson. Dick Van Dyke and the late Mickey Rooney reprise their roles from the first one as well.

The trailer looks about the same as the first two movies with Daley trying to get everyone together under one museum and save the tablet that holds the power to bring them to life. This time, it seems like the destination will be London.

The first two films were box office gold so it is no wonder Stiller and company decided to return to the franchise one last time. They are usually a great, family-friendly film that has a solid bit of humor and action.

Directed by Shawn Levy from a script by Thomas Lennon, Michael Handleman, David Guion, and Robert Ben Garant, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb hits theaters on December 19.
