Daleks are known for their evil, deadly ways, but someone will call the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) in to look at one that has gone off the rails. It has turned good.

"A Dalek so damaged it's turned good," the Doctor mutters in a new clip from BBC News. "How could I resist?"

The clip appears to come from episode 2, "Into the Dalek." Discribed by Writer Phil Ford ("The Waters of Mars") as a "behind enemy lines" story, it looks like the Doctor will have to make a hard choice about whether or not he wants to restore this creature to it's natural state.

Or can a good Dalek exist without hating itself?

"We're doing a really good Dalek one by saying they're nasty," teased showrunner Steven Moffat, according to Cult Box. "It's actually quite a gritty Dalek adventure."
