Chris Pratt might be on his way to becoming one of Hollywood's biggest stars, but it looks like he's still keeping things real when it comes to his marriage to actress Anna Faris. The Guardians of the Galaxy star says he knew it was "meant to be" when he first met Faris in 2007.

Pratt, who married Faris back in 2009, says he couldn't imagine life without his wife and their 2-year-old son, Jack.

He told People Magazine, "I feel like we're the same person in different bodies. Our number one priority was attempting to conquer this town as actors, and we supported each other in our quests. Now, with a kid, our priority has shifted and has at the top of it."

He added, "I probably loved her the moment I saw her. But it took getting to know one another and understand just how connected we had already been without meeting each other to realize she was the one for me."

Meanwhile, the actor, who many fans know as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, admits that he feels much better now that he's dropped his weight after feeling ill and developing a sleep apnea when he weighed almost 300 pounds.

Pratt says that he appreciates his new body so much so that he loves experimenting with different fashion and styles and even has more energy now.

"I like clothes now. I have more energy. I sleep better. My sex drive is up," Pratt told Esquire Magazine in a new interview on Thursday. "Blood's flowing. I'm less susceptible to impulse. I'm in a different mode."

Pratt added, "A moment might be a week or a month. So instead of 'Boy, I'd love to eat this hamburger right now,' I'm considering a little further into the future. I'm thinking, I eat that hamburger and that's 1,200 calories and I'm gonna work out tomorrow and lose 800 calories. I may as well eat a salad here, still do that workout, and then I'm actually making progress."
